Question & Answers
What types of mystery shopper roles are available?
Physical (covert video) mystery shoppers
Physical mystery shopping is carried out nationwide and requires you, the mystery shopper, to wear covert camera equipment to record an accurate and realistic customer experience.
You will not be required to make an investment in covert camera equipment as this will be provided to you by NMC for each assignment. We use extremely high quality equipment that would be unrealistic for individuals to invest in.

Email/ Online/ Digital Mystery Shopper
This type of mystery shopping is conducted by sending online enquires via our clients’ websites and assessments are made on the quality and speed of responses received. All findings are forwarded to NMC’s Performance Management office by the mystery shopper either via email or online report.
Although some computer knowledge is beneficial, you don’t need to be an internet guru to apply for our Email/ Online/ Digital Mystery Shopper position. Full training will be provided at NMC Head Office.

Telephone Mystery Shopper
Telephone mystery shopping is primarily used to conduct evaluations over the phone, but may also be required for customer satisfaction surveys and research. The calls are recorded via NMC’s bespoke in-house software from your home, with the data being securely stored at NMC’s Performance Measurement office.
So if you have the skills to communicate effectively and gather information over the telephone (and generally enjoy a good chat) please apply for our Telephone Mystery Shopper position. Full training will be provided at NMC Head Office.

Please note that we greatly welcome candidates from all walks of life and regional accents are very beneficial as NMC conducts calls all across the UK for our extensive client base.
